Daily Released Inmate PDF
Humboldt's strongest recent-release source is the Sheriff's Jail Reports page. It publishes daily jail-system PDFs, including a file labeled Released. The July 13, 2026 example was titled "Humboldt County Correctional Facility Released Inmate Report," printed at 05:00, and covered 2026-07-12 05:00:22 through 2026-07-13 05:00:22. For release-list intent, the latest Released PDF functions as the 24-hour release list, not as a real-time feed.

The index page is the durable link because each dated Released PDF has its own changing DocumentCenter URL.
How to Check the Last 24 Hours
- Open the Humboldt Sheriff's Jail Reports page.
- Find the most recent file with Released in the filename. Report filenames begin with the report date in yyyymmdd format.
- Open the PDF and confirm the report window at the top before relying on the date.
- Search the PDF for the last name, then read across the full row to confirm identity and release details.
- Open the same date's BookingSheet PDF if the person was booked and released in the same cycle or if agency and charge context is needed.
- Use VINELink or HCCF if the release may have happened after the morning cutoff.
For a named person whose release date is not known, start with the Humboldt County released inmates search path and then widen the date range.
What the 24-Hour Report Shows
The Released PDF is a release-confirmation record. It does not show mugshots, charges in full, or court disposition, but its fields are strong for confirming that a person left HCCF during the report window.

Humboldt Release Timing Rules
Humboldt's release-timing page gives unusually practical local detail. Recognizance releases occur soon after booking is complete unless an intoxicated person must remain until they can safely care for themselves. Court releases are processed after HCCF receives and processes paperwork from court, and delays can happen because of court volume or paperwork movement. Served-sentence releases generally occur between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., depending on correctional staff workload.

No Separate 24-Hour Database
Humboldt does not publish a page titled "24-hour releases." The daily Released PDF fills that role. For July 13, 2026, the example exact URL was a DocumentCenter PDF ending in 20260713_Released, but that exact link changes by date. For about three days of releases, use the 72-Hour Release List workflow and open three consecutive Released PDFs.
Photos Are Not in the Release PDF
The Released PDF is a text report. Humboldt's photo path is separate: Citizen RIMS may show latest arrests, booking photos, and calls for service, while the daily release report confirms the custody release. Use the release PDF for the release event, Citizen RIMS for recent arrest-photo discovery, and the Sheriff's Records Unit or CPRA process for older booking-photo requests.
When the Person Is Missing
If the person is not in the latest Released PDF, check the report window first. Then check the same date's BookingSheet, the next day's Released PDF, California VINE, Humboldt Superior Court records, and the Sheriff's Records Unit. The Records Unit processes records requests within 7 to 10 business days and gives CPRA request instructions through the county's preferred NextRequest channel as well as written requests by mail, email, fax, or hand delivery.
Released Report vs Booking Sheet
The Released Inmate Report and the Daily Booking Sheet answer different questions. The Released report is the release confirmation source: it says the person left HCCF during a defined report window. The Booking Sheet is a booking artifact that may also show release date/time and release type for people booked and released within the same cycle. It can add arresting agency, officer, charges, case number, warrant or fresh-arrest labels, and other context that the release report does not carry.
Use both reports when the release happened quickly. For example, a person released under Penal Code 849(b)(2) or on own recognizance may appear in the release report with a release type, while the same-date Booking Sheet may explain the arresting agency and listed charge. Do not treat either document as the court outcome. Humboldt Superior Court records remain the source for disposition, sentencing, dismissal, probation terms, and later bench warrants.
Route Non-HCCF Releases Correctly
A Humboldt County release search can fail when the person was not in HCCF. CDCR controls state-prison custody and Eel River Conservation Camp release information through CIRIS, CDCR records, DAPO, and Board of Parole Hearings channels. Federal releases belong to BOP and federal court records. ICE custody belongs to ICE ODLS and immigration records. The Humboldt 24-hour Released PDF is the right first source only for recent adult county-jail custody events at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
The same distinction applies to Juvenile Hall. Humboldt County Juvenile Hall is handled through juvenile probation and court processes, not the adult jail report. Adult release pages should not imply that youth detention releases are searchable in HCCF's daily PDFs. If a record is juvenile, the public adult-release workflow is not the right access path.
For adult HCCF releases, the daily PDF remains the cleanest public confirmation because it records the release event after the jail system has processed it.
